Hopkin's Wedding Blog Feature

I have been neglecting blogging again. I'm going to try to get some sessions from the past 6 months up here over the next couple weeks.

Starting with my sweet friends wedding. My very first time shooting a wedding solo.  After a four year engagement these two finally tied the knot on March 17th. I was honored to be a part of their intimate ceremony.

I am so bad with blogging....

Last summer I got to fulfill one of my dreams while helping a friend at the same time!

I got to do a 1940's vintage themed photoshoot and two of the photos ended up on my friend Stephanie Baumgartner's book covers!

Sophia's War is about a young girl in Germany before and during World War II. It's got a little bit of everything drama, suspense, romance. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series and I am looking forward to reading the rest.

The author Stephanie Baumgartner is very passionate about her writing and this period of time in the 1940's. She has spent countless hours researching this era and the country of Germany. These books and the characters give you a glimpse of life during this changing time. I've laughed and cried while reading them.
